About me

I speak workflow, data and development - and translate between them.

I am a seasoned developer and technology delivery leader with more than nine years of experience across the software development lifecycle. I translate between end users, operational leaders and development teams, turning real workflow problems into useful products supported by reliable SQL databases, Power BI analytics, Power Automate workflows and practical adoption plans.

The translator role

Useful software starts before the first line of code.

I work in the useful middle between people who know the operational problem and people who know how to build the technology. End users do not need to speak in database tables or API endpoints, and developers should not have to guess what a real working day looks like. I translate both directions: listening for the actual need, making the rules and exceptions explicit, and helping the team build the right product.

My career has moved through implementation leadership, IT project management, application support, database administration and lead development. That mix lets me contribute throughout the software development lifecycle - discovery, requirements, process mapping, solution design, development guidance, integration, testing, UAT, release planning, training, go-live support and continuous improvement. I remain hands-on, but I am equally comfortable clarifying priorities, reviewing delivery risks and keeping technical work connected to business value.

Data is a major part of that bridge. I design and optimize SQL environments across MySQL, SQL Server and Oracle; shape reporting and warehouse structures; and use Power BI to turn operational records into management evidence. With Power Automate and custom workflow automation, I also help teams remove repetitive steps, strengthen approvals and keep important work moving visibly.

Healthcare is where much of this experience has been pressure-tested, including multi-facility implementations and data-sensitive workflows. The underlying craft travels well: understand the process, protect the data, build for the people doing the work, measure what changed and keep improving after launch.

“The hardest single part of building a software system is deciding precisely what to build.”

Fred Brooks

“Any damn fool can write code that a computer can understand, the trick is to write code that humans can understand.”

What I bring

One practitioner. Five connected capabilities.

01

Seasoned development

I contribute across discovery, design, development, integration, testing and release while helping teams stay focused on a useful product.

02

SQL and data engineering

I design, tune and protect MySQL, SQL Server and Oracle environments, reporting models and data-warehouse foundations.

03

Business-to-technology translation

I turn operational language into clear requirements, rules and priorities - then explain technical trade-offs in language end users can use.

04

Analytics and automation

I build Power BI decision views and use Power Automate or custom workflows to reduce repetitive, invisible work.

05

Delivery and adoption leadership

I guide UAT, training, champions, go-live and continuous improvement because a release only matters when people can use it.
